In 1995, The Ergonomic Group (EGI), a Long Island-based technology solutions provider approached Vovéo seeking a fresh brand and identity that more effectively communicated the company’s value to the marketplace. At the time, EGI was best known as a regional reseller that had successfully grown their business through hard work and a strong commitment to their customer’s success, particularly within the NY financial sector. While existing clients recognized EGIs value went far beyond that of the typical reseller, their brand identity failed to adequately communicate those attributes to the marketplace.
Solution – It All Starts with a Solid Brand
After developing a thorough understanding of EGI’s market space and offerings, Vovéo set out to transform the firm’s identity by creating a dynamic and memorable brand image including a new logo, corporate web site and tagline: People. Technology. Information.. Upon completion of our initial efforts, we immediately went to task on a go-to-market campaign for EGI – "Enterprise Computing Without Limits - an Experts Guide to Success in the Network Age" – that firmly and forever branded the company to its target market as a top-tier, comprehensive IT solutions provider.
Results – A Record that Stands the Test of Time
The initial marketing campaign, the first of many to follow, was enormously successful for EGI – so much so that it won a prestigious ComputerWorld VAR Marketing award for the effort. Vovéo has performed extensive branding, lead gen and web services as EGI’s agency-of-record over ensuing years, and has helped the company grow to be a premier $300 million IT solution supplier in the greater Northeast region.
